Gatley Photography Club is going from strength to strength

It’s been a great year so far for Gatley’s very own Photography Club with a wide range of subjects covered, tutorials given and meet ups enjoyed and it’s only set to get better!

Just recently we’ve seen topics on the Gatley Photography Club Facebook group ranging from “Structure” through “People” to “Nature” with some brilliant entries from the club’s members.

In addition, sports – specifically football – photography has been added to the mix, with three members taking up their cameras to shoot match action during Baguley Athletic games. BAFC are a local grassroots club based at Wythenshawe Cricket & Sports Club on Longley Lane. Here’s hoping this continues into the winter months, when it won’t be so warm and enjoyable!

As we said though, the photography club is going from strength to strength. Just take a look at what is coming up over the next few months:

September 29th: George Franks (Twitter: @ggf_photos; Instagram: idge391) will be doing a talk about his Sports Photography.

October 27th: Adrian McGarry is coming to talk to us about his iPhone photography (www.adrianmcgarry.com).

November 24th: Daniel Kendall (www.thisismylove.co.uk) will be giving us a talk about his photography website, his motivation and how he has built up his brand.

Meetings are at the United Reformed Church, Elm Road, 8pm, and the club is welcoming new members all the time. Join the group here and see some more photography on Instagram.
