Anything goes as long as it’s baked and homemade. There are two categories – one for Under 14s and and one for everyone else. Simple enough, right?
To enter, all you need to do is bake up a storm and make sure you get your creations to St James’ Church Hall by 10.30am on the 11th, ready for judging by our very own Craft Baker, John Mather, ably assisted by Rev. Carlisle and legendary home baker Edith Barwell.
IMPORTANT: Make sure all your entries are labelled with your contact details, category entered and dietary information.
The winner in each category will be crowned Gatley Baker of the Year (or Gatley Young Baker of the Year) and will receive a Gatley-brand apron and jute bag too!
All entries will be sold after judging— so even if you don’t bake come along to the church hall between 12 and 2pm and take some home-baked goodies home or enjoy them there and then with a brew provided by the church.
