In April, GVP should have had its AGM. For obvious reasons this could not happen. This means that, since April, GVP has, in effect, not existed. The Chair and the Secretary had both resigned prior to the postponed meeting, after many years of service. There is hope of a future merger with the Festival Committee and talks are ongoing. We've decided that this current situation means it would not be sensible - or democratic - to run the AGM on April 8th. We will monitor what's happening and let you know when the meeting will be held - probably some time in the Autumn. Thank you for your patience.

Hello Gatley. It appears that rumours are flying. Though nothing is as yet decided, I thought it best to put the record straight. GVP is in talks with the Festival Committee about a possible merger.
